About Me
Personal
I come from a family of teachers and Spartans. For as long as I can remember I always planned to follow the same path. I graduated with a bachelor's degree from MSU in 2011 and student taught in a 5th grade class in Okemos, Michigan the following year.
Interests
I love to do anything crafty, spend time with family, and curl up with my two cats, Bella and Spike. One of my biggest passions is traveling. I have visted 48 of the 50 states and cannot wait to cross Oregon and Lousiana off that list! I love to spend time in Yellowstone National Park. I am a huge animal lover and could spend hours watching the wolves and bears there. It disappoints me that many of my students will never get to travel our beautiful country so I try to share as much as I can with them.
Classroom
This is my third year teaching 4th grade in Hastings, Michigan. I have been able to work with and learn from an amazing group of teachers here. Every day is a new adventure and I love what I do.
